A hotel you can feel before you arrive

How a slow, sun-bleached website helped a twelve-room hotel take its bookings back from the big platforms.

Chapter 01

The brief

Maré had the light, the stone and the silence, but its website looked like every other listing on a booking platform. Most guests found the hotel through third parties, and the owners wanted a site that made people book direct because they had already fallen for the place.

Chapter 02

The idea

We treated the site like the first five minutes of a stay. Pages open slowly, type breathes, and photography is cropped like postcards left on a nightstand. The booking flow lives inside the story, so checking dates never feels like leaving the hotel.

Chapter 03

The result

The new site launched ahead of the summer season with a custom booking flow, a seasonal journal and a quiet soundtrack you can switch on. Direct bookings now lead the hotel's sales mix.

Teo understood our hotel better than we did. The new site feels like the first five minutes of a stay: calm, warm and a little bit magic. Guests tell us they booked before they finished scrolling.
